Principal Welcome
Welcome
Welcome to Lynn Vocational Technical Institute!
Lynn Tech is proud to serve students in grades 8–12 through a comprehensive educational experience that combines rigorous academics, high-quality career and technical education, and opportunities for students to grow personally and professionally. At the heart of our school community are our TECH core values: Trust, Excellence, Craftsmanship, and Humanity. These values represent how we approach our work, our relationships, and our responsibility to one another. We strive to build Trust through strong relationships, pursue Excellence through continuous growth, demonstrate Craftsmanship by taking pride in the quality of our work, and practice Humanity by treating every member of our community with dignity, compassion, and respect. These values guide the experience we want for every student at Lynn Tech.
Our Grade 8 students begin preparing for their future through academic learning and pre-vocational experiences that introduce them to our school and acclimate them for what’s to come. During freshman year, students participate in our exploratory program, experiencing each of Lynn Tech’s eighteen technical areas before selecting the career pathway they will pursue for the next three and a half years.
Our technical programs provide students with authentic, hands-on learning experiences connected to industry expectations. Several programs provide students with the opportunity to earn hours toward professional licensure, while students across our technical areas can earn industry-recognized credentials and develop the technical and professional skills necessary for success after high school.
Eligible juniors and seniors may also participate in Cooperative Education and internship opportunities. These experiences allow students to take their learning directly into the workplace, where they receive advanced on-the-job training, work alongside industry professionals, and begin building the experience and professional relationships that can lead to full-time employment after graduation.
As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, Lynn Tech continues to grow and strengthen the opportunities available to our students. Our Biotechnology and Construction Craft Laborers programs have expanded our career pathways, while our partnerships outside of Lynn Tech create new opportunities for students. Our faculty and support staff are committed to providing every student with the best academic, technical, and personal experience possible. We want our students to be challenged, supported, and encouraged to discover what they can accomplish. Whether a student plans to enter the workforce, continue their education, pursue an apprenticeship, or take another path after graduation, our responsibility is to make sure they leave Lynn Tech prepared for what comes next.
We are grateful to our families for entrusting their students to us and for being our partners in their education. We look forward to an outstanding 2026–2027 school year!
