A message from the superintendent – July 2026

Welcome to Lynn Public Schools! 

It is an honor and a privilege to serve as superintendent of Lynn Public Schools. I am deeply grateful to the School Committee for the confidence they have placed in me and to our students, families, educators, staff, and community partners for the trust, collaboration and dedication that define our district. 

Over the past year, we have worked together to strengthen relationships, restore stability and reaffirm our shared commitment to providing every student with an excellent educational experience. As we begin this next chapter, we do so with a clear vision, a strong foundation, and tremendous optimism for what we can accomplish together. 

Our work is guided by a simple belief: Every student deserves equitable access to rigorous, engaging instruction in a school where they feel valued, supported and inspired to learn. Through our District Improvement Plan and Instructional Playbook, we are strengthening the instructional core across every classroom while continuing to foster inclusive school communities where every learner—and every educator—can thrive. 

Our five strategic priorities remain at the heart of this work: 

  • Strengthening the instructional core through culturally and linguistically responsive teaching and learning; 

  • Recruiting, developing and retaining exceptional well-resourced educators and leaders; 

  • Expanding innovative pathways and opportunities that prepare students for college, careers and civic life; 

  • Cultivating safe, welcoming, and inclusive schools where every student experiences a strong sense of belonging; and 

  • Building a culture of continuous improvement through shared accountability, collaboration and data-informed decision-making. 

None of this work can be accomplished alone. The success of Lynn Public Schools depends on strong partnerships with families, community organizations, local businesses, higher education institutions and city leaders. Together, we are preparing students not only to graduate, but also to become thoughtful problem-solvers, engaged citizens, effective communicators and lifelong learners who will help shape the future of our community. 

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve this extraordinary district and I look forward to continuing our work together with purpose, integrity and an unwavering commitment to the success of every student.
