LYNN PUBLIC SCHOOLS · GRADES 6–12

Secondary Mathematics

Building understanding, confidence, and opportunity through mathematics.

Our goal is to create mathematics classrooms where students solve meaningful, grade-level problems, explain and compare strategies, and learn from one another. We strive to build on students’ strengths, experiences, and languages while providing support that keeps challenging mathematics accessible. We are working to strengthen collaborative planning and the use of student work and discussion to guide instruction.
