How do I enroll in health insurance and other benefits?
Benefits for Lynn Public Schools employees are administered through the City of Lynn. New hires will receive benefits enrollment information during onboarding. Questions regarding enrollment, changes, or eligibility should be directed to the City's Benefits Office.
Where can I find information about my benefits?
The City of Lynn Benefits Guide contains information about health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, retirement, and other available benefits.
How do I make changes to my benefits?
Qualifying life events such as marriage, divorce, birth, adoption, or loss of other coverage may allow changes outside of open enrollment. Contact the City Benefits Office as soon as possible following the event.

Yes. Employees in positions requiring licensure are responsible for maintaining valid and current credentials throughout their employment.
How do I submit updated licensure information?
Employees should provide Human Resources with documentation of renewed, upgraded, or newly obtained licenses.
What happens if my license expires?
Employees whose positions require active licensure may be unable to continue in their assignment if a required license expires. Employees should monitor renewal deadlines carefully.
Where can I obtain information about educator licensure requirements?
Licensure requirements, renewal information, and professional licensure guidance are available through the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
Do I need to notify HR if I change my license status?
Yes. Employees should immediately notify Human Resources of any changes affecting their licensure status.
