Edward A Sisson Elementary School Home

Welcome to Sisson Elementary School! We are excited to welcome you to our school community, where every student is valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their fullest potential.

At Sisson, we believe that strong relationships, high expectations, and a positive learning environment are the foundation of student success. Our dedicated teachers and staff work together each day to provide engaging, meaningful learning experiences that support the academic, social, and emotional growth of every child.

At the heart of our school community are our SOAR Core Values, which guide how we learn, grow, and treat one another:

• S – Safe: We make responsible choices that keep ourselves and others safe.

• O – Outstanding: We strive to do our best, take pride in our work, and celebrate our accomplishments.

• A – Accountable: We take responsibility for our actions, our learning, and the choices we make.

• R – Respectful: We treat others with kindness, compassion, and respect while celebrating what makes each of us unique.

We encourage our students to demonstrate these values throughout the school day—in classrooms, hallways, the cafeteria, at recess, and beyond. Together, we celebrate what it means to be a Sisson Eagle!

We also recognize that families are essential partners in education. By working together, maintaining open communication, and supporting one another, we can ensure that every child feels a sense of belonging and has the opportunity to succeed.

Thank you for being part of our Sisson family. We look forward to a wonderful school year filled with learning, growth, celebrations, and opportunities for our students to SOAR!
