DLCS Welcome
Digital Literacy and Computer Science (DLCS)
Every student. Every classroom. Every year.
Learning to Think. Create. Solve. Communicate. Lead.
Preparing Every Student to Think, Create, Solve, Communicate, and Lead
Lynn Public Schools is committed to providing exceptional learning opportunities for every student from the early years of preschool through graduation. Central to our mission is creating dynamic, engaging, and equitable learning experiences that prepare students for success in school, careers, and life.
Digital Literacy & Computer Science (DLCS) is an essential part of that experience. Through purposeful integration of technology and computer science learning, students develop the skills to think critically, create solutions, communicate ideas, collaborate with others, and navigate the digital world responsibly.
We believe access to digital tools and meaningful technology experiences empowers students to explore, innovate, and demonstrate their learning in new ways. Across Lynn Public Schools, students use technology not simply as a tool, but as a pathway to creativity, problem solving, and deeper learning.
From PreK through Grade 12 and beyond, students engage in developmentally appropriate DLCS experiences that build digital fluency, computational thinking, digital citizenship, and the skills needed for college, career, and future opportunities.
Technology is not the goal. Learning is the goal.
Every student. Every classroom. Every year.
