Civics Action Projects

Students in grades 8 and 10 participate in the Civic Action Project. This project is mandated by the State of Massachusetts to be offered in grade 8, and once in high school. We selected grade 10 to conduct this project in because of the grade 10 United States History II curriculum connections to the Civil Rights movement.

This project is one of the most engaging projects that is done in all of high school, because it asks students to work together to come up with the issues that face our city and state, research those problems, and come up with solutions.
